(Flettner Fl-339) is a single manned rotorcraft developed by Anton Flettner. He built his helicopters for the German military, primarily for navy spotter use. It's predecessor the Flettner Fl-282, was a similar desgin and could carry 2 small bombs with a 2 hour flight limit. The Flettner Fl-339 had a, Argus As 10C 8 cylinder air cooled 90º inverted Vee piston engine, which produced up to 240 hp, and had twin rotors.
