Kemal Erkan is an American business executive and community advocate, best known as the CEO and founder of United Medical, LLC, and co-founder of the American Surgery Center. Erkan was born in Turkey and pursued his higher education in business administration and political science at Ankara University. He later moved to the United States, where he completed dual MBAs in Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Finance at Goldey-Beacom College in Delaware.

Erkan began his career in healthcare management in 2000, focusing on various aspects of medical administration and technology. He has served on the advisory boards for Cerner™ related to electronic medical records and practice management. Erkan has also been involved in academia, serving as an adjunct professor and helping develop healthcare management programs.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Erkan launched the "Delaware Health & Community Update" on the United Medical YouTube channel, which provides updates and information related to health topics in Delaware.
