A diligent editor of school articles
Steven (Editor)

Editor of the Week
for the week beginning September 9, 2018
A tireless behind-the-scenes editor doing fantastic WIKIGNOME work at WikiProject Schools. An active member of that project he is always participating in discussions where his comments are insightful, helpful and highly clueful for an editor of his experience level. A registered editor since late 2016, he only became highly active this year with over 3,000 edits. Indiciative of his par excellance distribution of his efforts; these edits are to over 1,900 different articles.

Hi, I'm Steven and welcome to my fairly short user page, not much to say at the moment but when I joined Wikipedia, for some reason it took me a few years until I decided to create a user page — this requires an investigation, I approve. The content below provides some information about me and the icons at the top right (see userboxes below if on mobile device) denote some of the user access levels I have so far which help with my contributions to Wikipedia — they will be pretty much stagnant but may expand as time goes on. I have a tendency to ensure things are neat and tidy, simplified, and consistent — you may see me applying these characteristics to Wikipedia. I've created and expanded a range of articles as well as WikiGnome work, and I'm also a coordinator for WikiProject Schools.

My ethos to adding content

[edit]

When it comes to adding content on Wikipedia, while ensuring we follow its policies and guidelines, I already believe it is important what we add is cited to reliable sources and written from a neutral point of view. Why? Well the reasons are simple and obvious:

Vandalism is an issue on here, a nuisance, which is a shame and hampers the development of this collaborative project. We do our best to tackle this, but I always wonder why people would want to waste their time adding useless vandalism when they could be doing something else better instead, right?
