Genetic Counselling
After receiving results from prenatal testing, individuals may want to participate in genetic counselling. Genetic counselling helps patients adapt to the implications of genetic effects on diseases.[1] Counsellors decipher past family medical histories and inheritance patterns, provide information on risk assessment, and respect and maintain ethical values[1]. This may help individuals make informed decisions regarding treatment options, which can be provided by genetic education from genetic counsellors, who can offer further testing options for these individuals[1].
These options include diagnostic testing (CVS and amniocentesis), continuing the pregnancy with or without further testing and discussion of future healthcare needs, as well as termination of pregnancy[2]. Prenatal genetic counsellors can also help you interpret screening or testing results and provide an emotional support network[2].

- I know that it was a little hard to find quality secondary sources for this material. This is where the Wikipedia community can weigh in and see if the National Society of Genetic Counsellors guide is sufficient as per WP:MEDRS. Since you are using this reference for background information, a weaker secondary source may be acceptable. Please stay tuned to your talk page/sandbox/sandbox talk page/article talk page and répond to feedback accordingly.
