Hi everyone.

I will explain briefly my contribution to the wiki article concerning the Carrera Autopodistica of Castel San Pietro Terme (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Carrera_Autopodistica):

  • I have added some pieces of information regarding the importance of this competition in enhancing the territory and visibility of the town, attracting many tourists every year;
  • I have mentioned the Baby Carrera, which takes place in May, as a sort of anticipation of the official race of September;
  • I have reported the exact year of the first competition of the Carrera Autopodistica;
  • I have added the link of the official website of the Associazione Club Carrera to the "External Links" section.

The sources that I have used to make this contribution are:

  • "Carrera, storie di vetture senza motore azionate a spinta umana per le vie di Castel San Pietro Terme" by Gilberto Giorgi, Calderini, Bologna, 1991,
  • "Mezzo Secolo di Carrera" by Sauro Dal Fiume, F.lli Cava, Castel San Pietro Terme, 2003.

Both the books were borrowed from the municipal library of Castel San Pietro Terme.

Moreover, I have contributed to the wiki article of the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore of Castel San Pietro Terme (https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiesa_di_Santa_Maria_Maggiore_(Castel_San_Pietro_Terme)), specifically in the "History" paragraph, giving information regarding:

  • the time frame of the edification of the Church,
  • from whom the Church was guided after its construction,
  • the qualification of the Church as a Rectorship,
  • the loss of its honorific title as Cathedral when the Pope left the town of Castel San Pietro,
  • to whom the Church was entrusted after the departure of the Pope.

The source that I have used to make this contribution is the book:

  • "Arte e Storia della Chiesa di Santa Maria Maggiore a Castel San Pietro Terme" by Michela Raspanti, Supporti Grafici Edizioni, Castel San Pietro Terme, 2012,

borrowed from the municipal library of Castel San Pietro.

Finally, I have improved the wiki article of Castel San Pietro Terme (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Castel_San_Pietro_Terme), translating the section of "Monumenti e Luoghi d'Interesse" from the Italian wiki page into English, after checking the content of the paragraph in Italian.

Hoping to have done a good job, thank you for your attention, RolfajieB (talk) 16:10, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
