The GT class in the HW International GT Championship is the top class, with these cars fighting for the overall victory in races. This class allows for both GT3 and GTE machinery to compete, balanced out through a balance of performance system. Manufacturers entered in the GT class can also compete for the GT Manufacturers cup, with the points scored by the highest finishing cars from each manufacturer.
The GTX class is a class designed for GT vehicles that are too slow to compete in the top GT class in the championship. This can include single make cup cars, custom built GT cars and GT2 cars. Cars in this class are also balanced by a balance of performance system.
The GT4 class is the slowest class in the HW International GT Championship. It allows for GT4 cars to compete, as well as single-make cup cars that are too slow for the GTX class. Cars are balanced through Balance of Performance.
