Hello world!

I have worked as a newspaper editor, writing tutor, and freelance editor, so I notice a lot of style and word choice issues.

I have degrees in international relations, social work, and computer science. I'm also really into primatology and human evolution. Specialization is for insects -- which reminds me that I also really love bees and beekeeping.

I currently live in the US, and have also lived in the UK and Qatar.

I like to play Redactle, and often make edits after I notice style weirdness in the Redactle article of the day.
