General Patrick, Captain Vazmarken, and Commander Axel discover a derelict Alphoid station - taken over by Barnardans.

Summary[edit]

Cruising in space, the FSS Oslo detects a space station on sensors. They furthur determine that it is 1500 meters in diameter. Captain Vazmarken orders the Oslo to go to it. They dock, and an away team consisting of General Patrick, Hans, and Vazmarken go down to the station, and see a Barnardan. They vaporize him. Captain Vazmarken sends a transmission to the Oslo telling them of the man, and they then leave the station, where they enegage a Barnardan Flying Saucer.

General Patrick then orders Vazmarken to go back, since he wants to destroy their foothold there. An armed team is sent to disrupt and destroy the station. After an engagement in the command center, they find an Alphoid. He tells them that the Barnardans hijacked the station 5 months ago. He then sets the station to self-destruct, and they teleport out. The Oslo then moves away as the station explodes.

While Vazmarken ponders their destination, the Alphoid passenger has an idea - drop him off at Station Nova 8, a few light-years distant. Vazmarken accepts, and drops off the Hipparcosian passenger off with the Alphoid. The Oslo then sails on off, continuing to explore the vast unknowns of deep space...
