The Center for Responsive Politics states that Bank of America has contributed $14 million dollars to political campaigns since 1990. Sources from MSNBC state that the Bank of America Corp., the nation's largest retail bank and third largest in the country, will spend $18 billion on commercial lending and investment banking for "green" projects over the next decade. Along with the policies stated in 2004 to enforce a healthier planet, they will add on this new policy to help consumer programs and on efforts to reduce its own impact on the environment.

AFLAC

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, AFLAC is the United States Fifty-First largest contributor to political campaigns. AFLAC has contributed an astounding $12,587,389 since 1990. AFLAC has almost donated the same amount of profits to both campaign sides leaving the Republican Party with 56% and the Democratic Party with 44%.

Blue Cross Blue Shield

Placing 45th in the Center for Responsive Politics Top 100 list, Blue Cross Blue Shield have contributed $13,439,238 to political campaigns. Since 1990 Blue Cross Blue Shield has given 62% of their contributions to the Republican Party Leaving the Democratic Party with 38%.

American Airlines

According to the Center of Responsive politics American Airlines stands ninty-fourth in donations to political campaigns with a total of $7,379,592. Since 1990 American Airlines has dontated over half,53%, of their contributions to the Republican Party, and 47% to the Democratic Party.
