I'm not sure it is a good idea to delete the section of the main article that you suggested be deleted on your draft page. I think it might be better to reword that part of the article because I do agree that it is written in a confusing way and that it might be considered an opinion. If you do end up rewording this section make sure to remember to cite things as needed. Under the "Within the disability rights movements" section or the "Controversy" section you may consider adding a section about eugenics. Much of this section talks about the effort neurodivergent people are making when it comes to combating the view that they must be fixed or cured. The reason neurodivergent people have to fight these battles is in part because of eugenics movements. If you decide to do this be careful not to come across as biased against specific organizations that are accused of pushing eugenics and know it may be better to cite concrete examples of eugenics instead of accusations.
