The nominator was (dramatic pause} User:Banana Fingers. Who after the AFD, did this.

The sad truth is that I don't know enough about football in the Philippines to even make a list of the things I don't know. I'm so ignorant, I call it 'soccer.' I'm keeping well out of this one. Contest deletion of page

I am new to Wikipedia and have so far created only one article. I received notification today that it had been nominated for speedy deletion, only to find that it had in fact been deleted yesterday. Your reason for deletion was cited as A7.

After reading your user page, it says that if I feel it was deleted in error I should send you links of articles to this person to validate their notability.

The page in question is Graham Hetrick. Below are several links to articles and such regarding Mr. Hetrick.

Thanks! I've looked at those articles, and I'm afraid that I'm not convinced that this person meets the notability criteria at WP:PROF, so I'm reluctant to recreate the article based on them. Of course, I could be wrong. I've been wrong before. If, after reading the guidelines, you still think that this is a notable person by Wikipedia's standards, you can get a discussion going that would get other people's point of view by requesting undeletion at Deletion Review. I was looking at the article on Mike Pence. The article reads like a campaign piece, and a number of edits have been done by HouseofRep. user who attempts to being the Congressional office of Mike Pence. They got in trouble for copying stuff straight from there Government website, then said they were his office and released the rights. I don't think any congressional members page should be one sided, negative or positive. I know it has a neutrality tag but what else can be done short of taking a chainsaw to it. Rollback

Please note that rollback should only be used to revert obvious vandalism. As explained at WP:RBK, "Use of standard rollback for any other purposes – such as reverting good-faith changes which you happen to disagree with – is likely to be considered misuse of the tool. When in doubt, use another method of reversion and supply an edit summary to explain your reasoning." I'm not sure why you considered this edit vandalism, so be more careful in future OK? I reverted your edits and immediately commented on your talk page, since my comment would not fit easily into an edit summary. My comment was polite and reasonable, and met with astonishing rudeness. I decided that I did not want to talk with you any more, told you so, and removed both the article and your talk page from my watch list. I assume that your next step, after that, was to go looking for a reason that I am bad and wrong, since that would justify your random rudeness to me. That's fine, but I don't really want to hear from you any more, as I said. Why not ask first then edit? Using rollback indicates you think my edit was disruptive, which might be considered rude dontcha think? I was confused by your question on my page because you seem to misunderstand the purpose of tags. I cannot see any "astonishing rudeness" in my responses and am bemused by such a characterization, which is more of a personal attack than anything I have said to you.Polequant (talk) 21:47, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

Might be, but this user isn't uploading images, which was one of that disruptive person's favorite things to be annoying about, so I'm not sure. I am not a checkuser, so I don't have the ability to double-check the technical data and be more certain, but you could request an investigation at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations, and a checkuser could have a look and see if this is likely to be the same person. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 19:03, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

Mike Pence Page Q

Hey FisherQueen, A couple weeks ago I commented to you on an article on Mike Pence showing you how it had been openly edited by his House of Reps. office to make him both look good and hide his quotes and policies that wouldn't make him look good. I went ahead and finally got around to cleaning up the article. I removed the uncited materials and added some sections. I am sure however his office has this page on a watch list. Is there someway to tag it to make it so they can't revert the edits. I tried best to keep article neutral and show ALL his policies, not just his ones that would be appealing to a large audience. He has announced he running for Gov. of Indiana recently and I feel like this pages traffic will increase quite a bit in the next year and would like it to remain neutral for the election. I also find it kind of disgusting almost that his office is openly influencing wikipedia and his page. Just wanted to bring it your attention and keep up the great work! You are a great admin. and I respect your opinion. Whatever you choose to do I am sure will be the right call.
