Filmhouse Cinemas

[edit]

Filmhouse Cinemas is a leading cinema chain in Nigeria. Since inception in December 2012, their services have consistently delivered modern cinematic experiences through digital cinema technology, state-of-the-art ambiances, and luxurious dine-in theatres. On the 25th of June, 2015, the company signed a pact with Canadian cine-tech giants – IMAX[1], to build the first IMAX theatre in West Africa. This agreement birthed Filmhouse Cinemas Lekki in September 2016. Later in July 2018, the CEO Mr. Kene Okwuosa announced in a press conference that the company would be building a second IMAX theatre and launching their first 4D Dolby theatre.

Filmhouse Cinemas currently operates 42 screens in their 10 cinema sites, located within 6 states in Nigeria.
