Howdy!
[edit]Hey gang, I'm Riley. I'm pretty new to Wikipedia editing but I'm learning the ropes bit by bit as I find something I want to fix and look up how to do it properly.
I live in Australia and work in a preschool, so I have more niche knowledge of Aussie kids' media than anyone actually wants. I am also interested in textile arts, and have just joined the relevant WikiProject. But I think my real passion is finding little fixes, and working my way through various cleanup tasks. It feels so useful, without actually needing to know anything specific!
Drafts and Focuses
[edit]I am working on an article about The Vegetable Plot, an Australian children's band that I reckon is sufficiently notable due to having won a few awards. I'll have to see how it comes together before I can be sure, though! I keep feeling like if they were truly notable an article would already exist, but then again, who but me cares about local children's musicians?
Cleanup Type Stuff
- Checking and redirecting links for articles that match ones in The Australian Dictionary of Biography
- Sorting out disambiguation links
- Adding details to bare links especially on topics that interest me including linguistics.
