Deborah Young is a New Zealand pharmacologist, and is a full professor at the University of , specialising in . She was awarded the Hamilton Memorial Prize by the Royal Society Te Apārangi in 1999.

Academic career

Young worked as a research technician, before completing a PhD titled Status epilepticus: mechanisms of generation and associated neuropathology at the University of Auckland.[1][2] Young then joined the faculty of the university, rising to associate professor in YEAR.

Young was awarded the Hamilton Memorial Prize by the Royal Society Te Apārangi in 1999.[3]
