I've been an avid Wikipedia user/reader ever since I failed to read the textbook (or attend most of my university classes for that matter) on the history of Ancient Rome, but used the site to study for both my midterm and final exams and obtained extraordinary marks.

However, I would caution others not to take this site for granted by assuming that every article is based on fact and/or is accurate. In fact, I encourage people to do as I did [for my exams] and cross-reference the material they find here with other well-reputed sources.

Nonetheless, I was genuinely surprised to find the level of unprecedented quality and accuracy, for a FREE encyclopaedia, found here.
