Hi, I am Dominik92, alternatively The Dominator (as seen in my signature). I am a Czech Wikipedia editor living in Canada. Take a look at my userboxes to get an idea of who I am, my interests, tastes and beliefs. I do my best here, so if I make an error, please let me know on my talk page. I have been a Wikipedia editor since May 14, 2007. I am a member of the Czech Republic WikiProject (as advertised above) and often contribute to Czech related articles. I also participate in deletion discussions, patrolling recent changes for vandalism and cleaning up articles, sometimes random ones and sometimes those which I have an interest in; those can range from film articles, history, biographical, political etc.

My contributions

Articles created

Here are the articles that I have created:

Other areas

[edit]

I have worked on Simpson episode articles of nineteenth season starting at Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind and all the episodes since, mostly doing maintenance work, making sure it doesn't fall apart when the episode airs, removing vandalism; making sure the articles don't downgrade into an unsourced triviafest, general cleanup and occasionally writing a piece of content.

There are plenty of articles relating to the Czech Republic for which I have written a part of the content or at least done some cleanup. I've written the substantial content of the article Czechs and also shielded it from a persistent vandal. A few examples; Adolf Opálka, Karel Kryl, FK Chmel Blšany.

I do a lot of unfocused here and there contributing; occasionally I will write something. I do cleanup of articles very often, wikifying, making the language used in articles more encyclopedic and reducing in-game fan cruft on pages relating to movies, books, video games etc. I have also done a lot of vandalism reverting, recent changes patrolling, New Article monitoring and deletion discussion.

Good Articles

[edit]

So far there are three GAs that I have had a large part in promoting, I hope to get many more:

Promoted after I found many sources, but in my book it was TheMightyQuill who is really to thank. Special thanks also goes to Jayron32 and Marskell and Milkbreath.

Possibly the only GA I reviewed that I'll include here, it's not as much that I contributed to it much, just that I was determined to bring it to GA. The impossible was accomplished with this one, I started reviewing it, very doubtful that it would make it, but thanks to Codharris who never gave up, it made it. I also thank Milkbreath for his excellent copyedit when we were in the need of it.

Great article on a great movie, I've written most of the content or at least completely re-written from a pile of trivia. It reached GA status in May 2008 after a fine review from Yllosubmarine. I also thank Erik and JayHenry for finding sources.
