An infobox is a type of template and gives information for something specific. I will be displayed on the right of the article, and will have information to what the article is talking about. To read more about infoboxes click here. There is a list of infoboxes here, and here as well.

How to make an infobox

When you edit an article, you can change many different thing on the page. You can add things, or get rid of things, and you can also make infoboxes. So first, infoboxes may seem hard to make they really aren't! You first decide what infobox you want to use. Let's say a school. The template for a school will turn out to look like this.

Now, an infobox doesn't have to have everything that is listed, for example, an elementary school doesn't really ever have a campus, so you can leave that blank, and any other that you don't have information on, plus you can delete that part, which makes the edit view better, and you will still get a good info box that way as well. (Even if you decide not to delete that parameter, it will not show up as a blank space on the info box, so it's your choice.)
