Evaluate the drafted changes

[edit]

Evaluation of the two proposed sections of Racial history, Discrimination in Mass Incarceration and Capital Punishment, and the lead Among races

Lead:

The lead hasn't been changed and I think that it could be beneficial to include the actual percentage of the population that minority groups are. This would set up The tone of the lead is very neutral and the writing is concise so adding this additional information should be done carefully.

Content:

The content is relevant to the rest of the page. Sources are up to date and reliable. Additional sections definitely deal with wikipedia's equity gaps.

Tone and Balance:

I think that the tone is relatively neutral and that different information is stated but not repeated.

Sources and References:

I think that certain information could use additional sources about the black codes and Jim Crow law could be included.

Overall:

I like the additions just make sure that documents support all of the information and are well cited so that the writing doesn't get taken down after publishing.
