Now editing for over a decade which seems to have gone by very fast. Interested in history, politics and culture in Belgium and Central Africa. A list of articles that I have started or rewritten can be found here. I have long-running plans to re-work the articles for the Belgian Revolution (draft here) and Non-British personnel in the RAF during the Battle of Britain (draft here).

Just a message of appreciation for improving the article on the Royal Question to GA status! Best, Midnightblueowl, 22 July 2016

I hereby award this barnstar for your extensive rework of the Royal Question, an important article that (as I have argued before) has needed revision for some time. Very good work! Elphion, 29 December 2015 This is in recognition of your fine addition of an article for Emile Janssens, last commander of the Force publique. Keep up the good work!! Buckshot06, 29 September 2013 For your tireless efforts concerning the Belgian articles on Wikipedia and your contributions as a whole! Mathijsvs, 7 October 2013 I see I'm not the first to think of this. You've earned it for your extensive contributions that greatly improve coverage of Belgium! Oreo Priest, 9 December 2013 Flight of the Wild Geese award Seems a fitting way to mark the well-merited promotion of "Congo Crisis" to GA! Cliftonian, 3 August 2014 Thank you for quality articles such as German occupation of Belgium during World War I, for rewriting the history of Belgium, including featured topic Belgium in World War II, for your plans to improve the African topics, because "The day will come when ... Africa will write its own history ... of glory and dignity", - you are an awesome Wikipedian! You have been selected as Editor of the Week in recognition of your concerned editing of Belgian articles. Thank you for the great contributions! Buster Seven, 23 April 2017
