"Todo de ti" is a song by Puerto Rican singer Rauw Alejandro, released on May 20, 2021 through Sony Music Latin, as the second single for the second studio album Vice versa, which was released in June 2021. The song was produced by Mr. Nais Gai and Alejandro himself.

The song managed to enter the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 37, becoming his first song to achieve this milestone and reached the top 3 on the Hot Latin Songs, being blocked by Dakiti, Telepatía and Yonaguni.[1] In Spotify he managed to reach the second position worldwide, being the highest position achieved in his career.[2] The song also peaked at the top spot of the Billboard's Argentina Hot 100 and in Spain, and it peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Global 200 chart.

Composition

[edit]

"Todo de Ti" is a dance and synth pop song, inspired by funk from the 80s, it also nods to the music of singers James Brown and Bruno Mars. In the podcast of the Spaniard streamer Ibai Llanos "Charlando tranquilamente", Alejandro commented "It has that 80's and old school vibe but with a summer vibe. Actually, I did it thinking so that people would put it on the beach, and I think we found it".[3]

The song was compared to the 2006 song "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie as it has a similar melody to "Todo de Ti" but at a slower pace.[4]

Live perfomance

[edit]

Rauw Alejandro performed "Todo de Ti" for the first time on The Kelly Clarkson Show. He was quite criticized for his lack of coordination with the choirs and dances, falling far short of the original. So much was the contempt that Alejandro immediately deleted the perfomance from his YouTube channel.[5]
