How is that vandalism? I think somebody just wants to be a dick on the internet, judging by the content of this page.

Lice Capades

Well, I don't really see the problem with what I put up, since I'm a little unclear on what "unconstructive" means. I mean, what I put up was simply what happened, I didn't replace any major information I just added to it.

Hold on I'm a bit confused here. I see you reverted your undoing of my addition to Lice Capades - so are you fine with it? Also, I see you incorrectly stated I vandalized your talk - I was simply making a second quick edit because I forgot to sign. AznWarlord (talk) 03:03, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, cool. Looks like you've done a good job otherwise from seeing your talk page. Great job. AznWarlord (talk) 03:06, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Kungfumagazine.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 14:13, 5 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 14:13, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The AICC always gives its own figures. With only 116000 Christians in the whole of the area, those figures might not look alright to some people. You might use a media source for better credulity; or the figures of compensation announced and calculated by the government. Two pastors were reported killed, in any media? 59.93.33.45 (talk) 00:30, 25 October 2008 (UTC) Please discuss, if you do not mind. 59.93.33.45 (talk) 00:32, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is a much edit-warred page. I suggest caution. POV sources do harm to the intent. It would be best to hold the insertion of the AICC data in abeyance till we find a media source. What do you say? 59.93.33.45 (talk) 00:37, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

I suggest that you remove the section till someone sources it more credibly. 59.93.33.45 (talk) 00:45, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, I would be violating the 3R rule if I do so. Hope you understand. 59.93.33.45 (talk) 00:53, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting own revert is not 3R. Anyway, I leave it to you [smiles] 59.93.33.45 (talk) 00:59, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Message

Hello, Wysprgr2005. You have new messages at Parthian Scribe's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

--Parthian Scribe 02:38, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed your CSD#G7 template, since the author did not delete all the content, and the article already had another db tag. --Terrillja (talk) 03:05, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

CWDHS Vandalism

Apparently, if vandalism constitutes making a page more accurate and relevant then I must be a vandal, or you must be a complete prick. Perhaps, if you had actually taken the time to read the section which I was trying to remove, you might have noticed the following.:

  • it is a list
  • it is irrelevant and uninteresting to anyone reading the page
  • it is outdated and subject to constant changeability
  • Seriously though, if this is not enough to convince you that such a section should be present on wikipedia ask yourself this: would you care to know all the teachers who taught at your high school 5 years ago? If you fail to respond to this in an intelligent and reasonable manner, you will only further incriminate yourself (as far as you can on the internet in terms of asshattery, at least) --The Man in the Ceiling (talk) 03:13, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

    speedy tags

I think your Huggle is not working right. when you use it, you need to check afterwards that it makes the appropriate entry and edit summary. Please use G7, db-author, only when you are the only author of the page, the author specifically requests deletion somewhere, or the author blanks the page. -- not on pages which the author ought to blank if he had any sense. Use test page, or vandalism or the like for those. DGG (talk) 23:10, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

    Please...

Please stop reverting edits on user talk pages. I understand the rms one, but talk pages, I posted nothing harmful. Keep this up, and I'll report you. 190.58.10.200 (talk) 01:53, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

    Reporting to AIV

Hi Wysprgr2005, did you try to report User:24.205.225.15 to WP:AIV after you reverted his vandalism after final warning? My automatic reporting didn't work in huggle for some reason, and when I tried to report manually, that didn't work either. I wanted to know if it's just me, or some problem with huggle. Chamal talk 03:03, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I've manually reported the IP. I'll drop a message about this at the feedback page. Chamal talk 03:08, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

    question

Hey I have a question since I'm sort of new to wikipedia, how do you change the title of an article after you create it? Should I capitalize the R and the S in my new article Podgorica rail station? -User:Balkanskiredneck

But how do you do it? Can you do it yourself since I don't know how? It's probly really easy to do and i must sound dumb but I jus don't know how to change article title. -User:Balkanskiredneck

Hello. I noticed you reverted me in an article, Alice Palmer (Illinois politician), recently, and that revert had the effect of adding vandalism that I removed back into the article. (diff: [1]) I figured it was probably a mistake, so I figured I just ask you to be careful about your reverts and to make sure they remove, rather than re-add, vandalism. I have re-reverted your revert, so as to remove the vandalism again. Thanks. ⇔ ÆS dt @ 03:06, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why is leaving comments on User Talk pages classed as vandalism?

I have no intention of vandalising Wikipedia, It's a great project.

re: recent warning at User talk:76.209.220.247

    Hello Wysprgr2005!

I noted the recent warning you left at this IP regarding vandalism, and wanted to ask about it.

The last three warnings left there were all this month, and graduated from level 1 to a level 3 warning. By my reckoning, that would make the next warning a level 4 warning (the last warning had only been given a few days ago), however, you left a level 1 warning.

I was wondering if there was a reason why you stopped graduating the level of the warning. This has been on my mind for some time as I have seen a few editors do this, and it makes it much harder for stop vandalism, because some blocking admins refuse to block any vandal who has not seen 4 notices, one of which is a level 4 notice, no matter what is going on. On the other hand, I thought there might be mitigating circumstances that I am simply not seeing.

Anything you could share with me would help my thinking, and I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance! LonelyBeacon (talk) 06:17, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

    ...for this! --Say Headcheese!--hexaChord2 05:32, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

    Um

I sent that user a message via their talk page. That is not vandalism. Your reversion has, however, proven my theory I am testing to be true. Editors revert *far* too easily. If I were a newcomer, I would never want to edit this encyclopedia again given the way I have been harassed. If this is removed, I will seriously consider never editing Wikipedia again. 130.126.76.118 (talk) 23:47, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
