Please can you explain why you have undone all my amendments to the University of Derby article as there was a lot of inaccurate information in the article that I was keen to correct. For example the student numbers were incorrect - I corrected them as per the University's HESA return. Also a lot of the course listings were incorrect and misleading.

I would appreciate your response.

----There was no problem with the student numbers and it would be nice for them to be corrected. However, there were so many erroneous edits that it was more effective to clear all of the edits and then re-insert the valuable edits. As for the correction of the course listings, it would be more constructive to retain the extant formating of the article via simply exchanging courses, adding courses or deleting courses. By this, the integrity of the article is kept. Also, the correctness of the listings are of little dispute as they are derived directly from the university faculties and monitored for continuing relevance.
----I do not agree that I have made erroneous edits - I work for the University of Derby and have been asked by senior management to correct the errors in the article. All of the amends that I have made are factual and correct.
Do you also work for the University, or Wikipedia?
----Both. I am also a professional editor in the market sector. As said, the major problem here is with the structure of your writing. It is not my intent to offend, but the re-writing of the text, the form it was in before being reverted, was not of the lingual quality that the university should be represented by....really that anything should be represented by...Additionally, there were entirely to many claims that extended beyond the inherent citation of self-referencing. You can not make claims such as 'half of' etcetera without citing the claim. Only use common knowledge or self-referencing claims if you do not have the references.
----As you work here at the University of Derby I think it would be better if we talk about this face to face, so if you want to email me at marketing@derby.ac.uk we can arrange to meet for an informal chat about this.
----My identity is better left unknown. And there is really no need to have a meeting as this is not a complicated issue. Corrections are great and are welcomed but there must be a higher degree of professionalism in the execution of them. Please make your corrections, but at the same time, do not fix what isn't broke and do not alter a page's uniformity of style unless you are prepared to alter the whole article. Continuity is paramount. Lastly, and back to professionalism, it is inappropriate for the university to sanction work on wiki. This leads to self-serving propaganda and enormous issues of 'conflicts of interest' in the realm of public trust. This is also against wiki policy. Self-promotion is prohibited. It would be wise to advise your supervisor of this. Thanks for your time...
