Hi there. I'm HangingCurve, the user formerly known as Blueboy96. I'm a 33-year-old guy and lifelong resident of Charlotte, North Carolina. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000, but unfortunately my journalism degree's gathering dust. I used to be an admin, but am no longer one. I cry over that every day and night, especially when I get insulted by people over Wikipedia and I can't block them!

I stumbled onto Wikipedia in 2004—and quickly got hooked. I passed the 10,000-edit threshold sometime in May 2007, and the 20,000-edit plateau in January 2008.

I'm a WikiFairy, and a deletionist. So if you came here because I put a speedy deletion tag, a PROD tag, or an AfD tag on an article, it's nothing personal—I just don't think it should be here.

I usually edit articles relating to politics, broadcasting and sports—though I've increasingly spent a lot of time on vandal patrol.
