I often work on [[Formula One]]-related topics, originally driver articles, but also race and team articles. I mostly concentrate now on Formula One race reports and results, and articles concerning the mighty [[Leyton Orient F.C.|Os]]. I also occasionally delight in hustling persistent vandals and tedious, disruptive types into Wikiblock-oblivion.
A word of caution - if you are the kind of editor who might resort to comments such as this one I encountered:
"I hate stupid people who just edit my articles.
- They denying my human rights."
then you are almost certainly not suited to editing Wikipedia. Equally, comments such as this one [1], or this one [2] display your ineptitude as a successful editor, or in these cases, a successful vandal. If you must vandalise, try something amusing as it is at least faintly entertaining. To me, anyway. It's also entertaining when you are blocked, which is the usual result. Being unpleasant [3], [4] is a good way to shorten your wiki career, as is threatening to kill me. All offenders will be prosecuted.
Anyone who's visiting this page with a view to telling me that British band names take a singular verb, don't. I'll just quote the Guardian MOS [5] and tell you to look under "band names". If that's not good enough for you, then that's very sad. Like one tedious editor in particular, you might then argue that newspapers deliberately perpetuate bad grammar, presumably either in an orchestrated attempt to strangle the language, or maybe just for the hell of it.
