About

Don't End Up Like Me is a series focusing in on four girls who lose their best friend due to a murder. Based off of Pretty Little Liars, Riley Sullivan (Lucy Hale, lovexwriting), Spencer Wright (Troian Bellisario, xfallingflames), Victoria Hastings (Shay Mitchell, lolamiley), and Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson, joevatic) receive threatening messages from their best friend who appears to be still alive. These messages are signed "A", for Alison, and reveal their secrets only she knew. When Alison's body is found in the fourth episode, the girls have no choice but to come to terms with the fact that someone else knows their secrets, and someone else entirely is torturing them. In the first season's finale, we learn that Emily Hart (Selena Gomez, xsierruh), who is also Spencer Wright's (Troian Bellisario, xfallingflames) cousin, is indeed the first revealed member of the A-Team. In the second season opener, it is revealed to the girls that there is another member of the A-Team.

The series premiered in April, becoming a proclaimed new series. Although it was criticized for its originality, the series is based off of the Pretty Little Liars book series, explaining some of the plotlines. It was renewed for a second and third season in October of 2012.

Main characters

• Riley Sullivan (Lucy Hale, lovexwriting) is a calm character, who's one main goal is to end up with love and happiness... And no A.
• Spencer Wright (Troian Bellisario, xfallingflames) is what one would refer to as an outgoing person, and a walking form of Google. Her frustration with not discovering who truly killed Alison causes conflict in her own mind, keeping her drived and focused on discovering who this killer truly is.
• Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson, joevatic) is what one would call a "fashionista". Her best friend Jasmine Orchard and her spend their days consulting fashion magazines, and getting pedicures. Although Hanna desperately wants to know what happened to Alison, she does not know how to assist Spencer in the hunt for the truth.
• Victoria Hastings (Shay Mitchell, lolamiley) is a character who has goals, dreams, and who knows what's expected of her. Victoria struggles with her identity in the second season, which distracts her from attempting to discover information about Alison's death.
