Tikola Kalan, also referred to as Tekaula Kalan or Tikola, is a village situated in Roorkee tehsil, in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand, India. Located in the Garhwal region in the Shivalik hills of the Himalayan range of northern India, it lies approximately 58 km (36 mi) from Dehradun, the state capital, and around 157 km (98 mi) from New Delhi, the national capital.[2][3]
Demography
[edit]Tikola Kalan is a sizable village situated in Uttarakhand, comprising 831 families. According to the 2011 census of India, the village has a total population of 5,360, with a demographic breakdown of 2,935 males and 2,425 females.[1]
