[edit]- Hello, I would like to change this template, but since I am an employee of the University of the Pacific, I want to avoid a conflict of interest. The changes I'd like to make are to get rid of the bright orange color, remove the "navigation buttons" which don't actually do anything, and update all the links. Is it OK if I go ahead or is more appropriate for someone else to do this? Thank you for your help and I apologize for my "newbie-ness"! Usernameangst (talk) 18:46, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
- Interesting comments. I think that you should be BOLD and make the changes that you desire, keeping in mind the goal is to be expansive and encyclopedic. As for your proposed changes, note that the image was lost due to a computer problem; I think that I can find a replacement image. As for the colors, I believe that orange and black are the school colors...why shouldn't we use them for the navbox (as is done with most all other university navboxes, such as in the Template:Princeton navbox? As for the non-links, the plan should be to populate each non-existent article...perhaps your personal knowledge can be useful in creating those articles and/or stubs. [edit]- We need to get a better school picture for the infox as well as the article. How about you, Usernameangst, since you are a campus employee? Streltzer (talk) 16:55, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
