Any way to add an option to hide the footnotes in the bottommost row?

Does anybody know if there is a wiki option for hiding individual rows in a table? I would like to put such hide option on the row containing the footnotes explaining certain prefixes and suffixes (or lack of), especially since in some cases, display of footnotes within a table may be somewhat disruptive or annoying (especially if they are lengthy).
