I have rewritten the template so that it is a wapper around {{cite web}}. This has to advantages:

  1. Citations will now appear like other similar citations rather than in a unique style (see Help:Citation Style 1 CS1)
  2. wrapping it around the standard template {{cite web}} allows this template gain functionality with little effort.

I have kept backwards compatibility with the previous parameter handling.

I have added two parameters from the {{cite web}} to improve its functionality:

  1. The current CS1 citation style can be change to other styles by passing in a mode parameter eg mode=cs2 which is compatible with the style used by the {{citation}} template.
  2. So that this template can be placed in a list with other references to a source, I have included a ref= parameter. It defaults to ref=RCRC Identification Number and is by default set. This allows it to be used with the Harvard templates such as {{harvid}} as short citations inside footnotes or as in-line bracketed citations. It also allows for multiple use of the same citation within an article without having to have more than one full citation to the Royal Collection Identification Number in the article.
