Separate template for Mosques

[edit]

There should be a separate infobox template for mosque as there is a separate template for church (Template:Infobox church). Because mosques has its unique contents. the infobox for should contain those unique information like minarets, domes, denomination, and other features suitable for a mosque.

I agree that the template should allow denominations for Islam - as used, the template allows denominations for some faiths, but not Islam.
Regarding architectural features - the template already allows domes and minarets - we do not need a new template to allow this.-- Toddy1 (talk) 10:17, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Propose specific changes to this template if you think that it needs additional features. Here's the 2013 discussion that merged {{Infobox mosque}} into this template. – Jonesey95 (talk) 13:56, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
in infobox church we can add map image (like: we can add an interactive map of the area of the building) but in infobox religious building we cannot. User.inu6 (talk) 14:09, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Are there any requirement that `sect` property cannot be used as denomination specification? ThainaYu (talk) 10:25, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request to add image_map module

[edit]

Please add "image_map" module in this template. in which we can add an interactive map from Template:Maplink.

example: in Template:Infobox settlement we can add Template:Maplink in module image_map Inu06 (talk) 10:44, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I too wish I could select maplink/mapframe as `map_type`. And only specifiy `length_km` to focused on the building area. Everything else can be derived from wikidata ThainaYu (talk) 10:28, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Could we move Region, Province, District into `Location` block instead of `Religion` ?

[edit]

Or is it has other meaning and not for a location? ThainaYu (talk) 18:09, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
