@Raph Williams65 oh i forgot to mention, you can make the text automatically change pronoun based on what the user has in their prefs! Just use this: Template:Gender

In terms of the text I recommend phrasing it as follows "user has been awarded a Golden Badge for [their] efforts in..."

I'm not overly familiar with documentation as I haven't really used it. I recommend checking Wikipedia:Template documentation, and I think you can also ask for help at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical) (or at least ask where to ask!!) - I also find the wikimedia community discord to be quite helpful. @Raph Williams65 and one more thing, I can't figure out how to escape the template! As in, everything placed after it seems to become part of the template.
