I believe the data for Georgia needs to be changed to refer to "Georgia (country)". I think this may be the following change, but I am not sure if it would break other things:

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Take a look at the /data module for what I mean - I'll need at the very least the flag, and if there are historical flags as well we'll need the years they got switched. Thanks for the code and the links. All of this usage differs significantly from what Wikipedia says and shows at Flag of Guadeloupe, including the one working source and the photo of the town hall, which show the flag of France. That page calls the black and yellow flag a "locally used unofficial flag" (with no sourcing). Not to mention that the three pages linked from this template's documentation do not list Guadeloupe as a member country. I would be comfortable linking GLP, the only international standard abbreviation for Guadeloupe that I could find, to the flag of France, but without real sourcing, I don't think we should use an unofficial flag or nonstandard abbreviation. – Jonesey95 (talk) 17:51, 27 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

A web site maintainer can make up any code they want in the absence of an official standard. This template is used by multiple types of templates to match country names and (official) flags with official, standardized country codes. "GUD" does not appear to be an official IOC, CGF, or FINA country code. "GLP" is at least an ISO country code. – Jonesey95 (talk) 21:55, 27 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
