Specificity

[edit]

This template should be redone similar to {{NRISref}}, allowing an editor to specify which year's edition is being cited. In addition, the page/pages parameters should be passed through so that an editor can notate specific page numbers for better compliance with WP:V. With a little proper coding, a year parameter could be added, and the url would link to the specific edition needed rather than run a list of a dozen or so links. I was bored, and it is done. Now, if you supply the version, the template will link to the HTML copy of the specific report, supply the correct date and title for that year's report. As before, you can specify how the publication date is output, but it no longer controls the access date. The access date should really not be fixed, instead it should be set whenever an editor consults the reports for their research. As such, this template will now allow the user to specify the accessdate. If no version is specified, the template leaves off the specific year's information and just has the link to the overall list without a date. Imzadi 1979  02:23, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
