Could I ask why it's a bad idea? The FL list of Naruto Characters uses essentially the same format and their voice actors are linked. AngelFire3423 (talk) 15:47, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

For one, it's trivial to link to the voice actors: "{{anime voices2|[[Naruto Uzumaki]]|[[Junko Takeuchi]]|[[Maile Flanagan]]}}" → "Naruto Uzumaki is voiced by Junko Takeuchi in Japanese and Maile Flanagan in English.". For two, it relies on an expensive parserfunction ({{#ifexist}}), the use of which is generally discouraged if possible.
