This welcoming template for the California Wikiproject shows specific templates {{CalWelcome-anon}} for anonymous users and {{CalWelcome-reg}} for registered users. Both these welcome templates conclude with {{Cal Invitation}} which may be used on its own to invite established editors (who do not need a welcoming to Wikipedia itself) to join the California project.
Usage
The template should be substituted into an editor's talk page, thus:
