- From "highway in region" without possibilities: This is a redirect from the format "(highway) in (region)" to the (highway) article, a redirect that is unlikely to ever be expanded into its own article.
- Do not replace these redirected links with a link directly to the target page, since times change, and there is still a chance, however slight, that this redirect will someday become a separate article in Wikipedia.

Usage
[edit]- This redirect category (rcat) template populates both Category:Redirects from highway in region without possibilities and Category:Unprintworthy redirects by default. In 2003, efforts were begun to support the Wikimedia Foundation's goal of increasing access and availability of Wikipedia articles in printed versions. Redirects from highways with virtually no possibility of becoming articles are not suitable for a printed version. In other words they are unprintworthy.

- Add this rcat to a redirect page (not a talk-page redirect) in the following manner:

- Template {{Rcat shell}} is an alias for the Redirect category shell template, which may be used to add as many appropriate rcats as needed, usually from one to seven, along with their parameters, to a redirect. For more information see the documentation on its template page. This rcat may also tag a redirect individually:

- This is in accord with instructions found at WP:REDCAT.
- Use this rcat only to tag "(highway) in (region)" redirects to their "(highway)" articles if they are unlikely to ever be expanded into an article.
- Important note: This rcat should only be used to tag highways that enter multiple regions, so Interstate 4 in Florida should not be tagged with this rcat, but Interstate 535 in Wisconsin should.
