According to:

http://www.preteristarchive.com/JewishWars/timeline_factional.html

the Zealot Temple Siege occurred circa December 67 AD. (Nero was returning to Rome, from Greece, about that time, too; perhaps moderates sought to retake the temple & city, to appease the returning Nero ?) And, circa December 69 AD, Eleazar ben Simon, commanding the Temple, broke away from the Zealots, under influence from prominent & Priestly families. So, Eleazar ben Simon's secession occurred approximately on the second anniversary, of the siege, and the slayings, of the High Priests. 66.235.37.80 (talk) 15:20, 25 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Jesus

[edit]

"Jesus, one of the elder high priests, made a speech from the walls, denouncing the Zealots as robbers and telling the Edomites to throw down their arms."

The Jesus? I'm pretty sure this is a few years after "the son of God." MrWrightEsq. (talk) 19:57, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
