Great job but we're missing two roads: 33 Glenwoods and 45 Doane. York Region's "Road Inventory Ownership" document (a PDF file from 2006; link = http://yorkexplorer.york.ca/yorkexplorer/pdf/2006_RoadInventoryOwnershipID_XLrg.pdf) lists both of them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eddieshore4 (talkcontribs) 04:18, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regional Road 67 / McCowan Road

[edit]

There is something not making sense with the text. The small infobox says the road ends at the north at Bloomington, but there is confusingly written text about the road much further north at Ravenshoe Road. The road seems to go all the way from Steeles Avenue in the south to Baseline Road (RR 8A) in the north according to Google Maps. There is one break, about 250 metres, in the middle of the concession between St. John's Sideroad (RR 26 further west) in the south and Vivian Road (RR 74) in the north because of a gorge of a tributary of the Black River (York Region). Does this check out? --papageno (talk) 04:36, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Here is the offical regional map, which shows road sections (used for timesheet entries when I worked for the region). According to it, \67/ goes from Steeles to Bloomington, and then from Davis to Ravens-hoe. - Floydian τ ¢ 17:53, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It's entirely possible for a roadway to continue past the end of its numbered Regional Road designation, because the number doesn't always automatically apply to the whole road — a road can have parts that are numbered as a Regional Road and parts that aren't, or sometimes even parts that are numbered as different Regional Roads from each other. Perhaps we could be clearer about the nuances, but the facts you've pointed out aren't in outright conflict with each other — we're just perhaps not clear enough about how they're all simultaneously true. Thanks to you both. I will edit something later this evening to more clearly outline these facts. --papageno (talk) 00:41, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
