Final ending

[edit]

Is the "final ending" the very last thing of the Fairly Oddparents? is it the final episode? or is it just a movie? I just want to know if there is going to be more Fairly Oddparents. (Originally unsigned comment)

It is not the final episode. 201.127.38.222 (talk) 23:53, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I created a section for this discussion because it did not exist before. 201.127.38.222 (talk) 23:53, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's the end of the movie triogly. WikiChicken81112 (talk) 00:06, 27 June 2010 (UTC)WikiChicken81112[reply]

Trivia

[edit]

Should be noted that when Jorgen says "worst chosen one ever" this refers to the comic book guy from the Simpsons "worst .... ever" --Cooly123 (talk) 19:34, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No one seems to think this is important? It's been here for 6 months.--Cooly123 17:35, 14 January 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cooly123 (talkcontribs)

Please read Wikipedia:Trivia sections. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Trivia sections need to be avoided. 201.127.38.222 (talk) 23:53, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is not a very encyclopaedic article

[edit]

I realize The Fairly OddParents is mostly a show targeted at a young audience. However, if you are an editor and a grown-up, and enjoy this show, I suggest you take care to word the article following Wikipedia guidelines. This mostly implies avoiding trivia sections. Please try to keep the content sane without adding a lot of useless information. 189.235.173.179 (talk) 16:50, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Death of Timmy" vandalism

[edit]

I noticed that there was a bunch of jumbled up information that I found confusing. Whoever edited it threw in something about Wayne Knight as the Evil Emperor Zurg from "Toy Story" and since when did this movie involve Dragonball Z characters? I undid as much as possible.

"Doctor Who" reference

[edit]

I watched wishology, and I watch a lot of Doctor Who, but I can't find any Doctor Who references (aside from the eliminators similarity to the Cybermen, but apparently that's a reference to another show). There isn't even an explanation in popular media references. Put an explanation there if you know what the reference was. 74.195.213.196 (talk) 16:08, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Okay this artical seems quit ready for a GA except for some details

  • In the Kiss picture it is said the the band guest started, but reading the artical is says just two members lended their voices, could you change it in the image so it says which members guest started.
  • This is just a personal thing but could you add some Alt to the images.
  • The George Lucas image dose not have a good example of Alt.
    • Done - Elaborated more on the George Lucas alt. 89119 (talk)
  • Has this episode ever been released on DVD?
    • Currently, there are no news of the DVD release on Wishology; a Google search would not return any results of it. 89119 (talk)
  • The part were it says the other series Guy Moon has worked in seems irelevent (even if they are all created by Hartman)
    • Done - Removed the mention of two other series. 89119 (talk)
  • Could you please add that Kiss is a rockband.
  • guest actor Gary Sturgis. What dose guest actor mean?
  • Why are the opinions of the reviewers inbetween each other?
    • It is to show the comparison of any same aspect in the TV film between two reviewers. i.e. Turbo Thunder is praised by Bynum while criticized by Cruz. 89119 (talk)

Well thats all my thoughts. fix those things and it will Pass. --Pedro J. the rookie 20:09, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Passed, I must encorage you to review an artical which is on the list when you have time to. Also I belive that this artical is quit closeto FA material. Pedro J. the rookie 01:08, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

August 2011 copy edits

[edit]

I don't understand the first two sentences of the Plot section. Could you clarify? Thanks. --Dianna (talk) 22:04, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I can never really explain those two sentences too well. :| Those first two sentences were to describe [1] (1:20-7:03). As I watched all three parts of "Wishology" and wrote the majority of this article, I'll explain it in a more detailed, albeit in-universe style:
Right after the secondary CGI opening of "Wishology", the camera transitions to a Matrix-parodying universe, where Timmy (who is Teo in the first Matrix trilogy wish) fights his school teacher Mr. Crocker. But Timmy eventually dislikes his first trilogy wish, so he calls his fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda to take him to his second trilogy wish, to a world parodying Lord of the Rings. However Timmy criticized the second wish for its lack of action, so he wishes for his third trilogy wish, in a Harry Potter-themed world, at what looks to be a Quidditch game. The main plot begins from there in that third trilogy wish, where toughest fairy Jorgen von Strangle poof Timmy out of his trilogy wish and back to his usual house in his usual hometown Dimmsdale (and this time no one knows him) for reasons outlined in the rest of the plot.
Also, his "trilogy wish" is revealed to have happened inside a television/computer screen (personally I can't tell whether computer or television judging from the episode) from 2:48-2:56, which implies his fairy godparents used their magic to poof Timmy inside the screen and create the trilogy worlds around Timmy.
Anyway, I hope my explanation is of any help for further clarifying those two setneces. 89119 (talk) 23:21, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Incomprehensible sentence

[edit]

About the end of 2nd part

"so he sacrifices himself into The Darkness, but Cosmo tells Timmy that he would totally stand back and saw the so-called the famous scene throws the candy-filled dynamite into the Darkness that he put it inside and creates a massive explosion after sharing a kiss with his long-term crush Trixie"

The part I can process is : - so he sacrifices himself into The Darkness, [...] and creates a massive explosion after sharing a kiss with his long-term crush Trixie

But there is also - but Cosmo tells Timmy that he would totally stand back - (who? C or T?) saw the so-called [extra the here?] famous scene (which scene? they "saw it coming"?) - (who? same as before) throws the candy-filled dynamite into the Darkness (THE dynamite? never mentioned before... a, one? probably not THE) - that he put it inside (well, ofc they put it inside, we just said it was thrown at the darkness)

I can't even understand what that sentence is trying to say... It's been a while since I saw the episode on TV, can somebody more knowledgeable clean this up? I'm tempted to remove the extra "the" from "the famous scene" but maybe even that is part of the meaning? 193.191.221.210 (talk) 07:24, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
