Maybe more complicated than just this year

"Byrd obtained the prestigious post of Gentleman of the Chapel Royal in 1572"--it seems that he may have been one of the chapel gentlemen already when he was at Lincoln, before 1572.[1] and [2].--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 04:25, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Good to hear! Article has some decent foundations to begin with, but I'm not convinced that the current combining of music and life sections is optimal for either topic. It is particularly limiting for the musical content, which would do better sorted into genres than specific pieces. Aza24 (talk) 20:14, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
