Walter Monckton was NOT Attorney General from 1932. The Attorney General during the Abdication crisis of 1936 was Sir Donald Somervell. --81.242.246.240 14:29, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to the DNB Monckton was "attorney-general to the prince of Wales" 1932-1936 then "attorney-general to the duchy of Cornwall" 1936-1947 & 1948-1951. See also Attorney General#Other Attorneys General in the UK. Timrollpickering (talk) 23:21, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

According to this Walter Monckton was the Attorney General during the Abdication crisis of 1936.

WW1?
