The Short or The Younger

[edit]

I just noticed that @Srnec reverted my changes without any stated cause. Would like some arbitration or a discussion regarding this reverted change. I changed the cognomen from "Pepin the Younger" to "Pepin the Short" which is the stated cognomen on his main Wikipedia page.

I cannot find him being referred to "the Younger" anywhere except for one place underneath an image on the main article where as he's referred to as "the Short" in many places. I feel like this revert was made in error, as it seems that "the Short" is the proper cognomen to use when referring to Pepin III.

Self-reverted. My mistake. Srnec (talk) 00:02, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
