Voice of eye is band with particular merit; they are nationally known, and have a substantial discography. Their discography is a little hard to pin down, as it involves numerous collaborations; but I'm working on it. Both members of the band have also had a number of other notable projects.

It would be a shame to see this removed, so if I may chime in on notability: Forgiving us the assumption that experimental noise and dark ambient / isolationism are notable genres in the first place, Manifold Records has been the epicenter of the movement for about 15 years now. The label (and distributor, as is often their role) is as notable as you can get for this sort of thing. Voice of Eye's full-length studio albums were released on other labels, but the original material they contributed to collaborative works and anthologies on the Manifold label is substantial - among them a half hour live collaboration with Illusion of Safety and, more notably, a long piece on the three-part Narratives: Music for Fiction with Robert Rich and Paul Schütze. Other important artists with full-length releases on the Manifold Records label include DJ Spooky, Mick Harris, KK Null, Steve Roach, and Rapoon. einexile (talk) 03:22, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
