Birth and death years of General van Strydonck de Burkel

I noted on the internet that the years listed for his life varied. In order to resolve the conflicting information, I contacted the Belgian Museum of the Army in Brussels. The cordial email I received on 24 June 2009 follows:

>I can confirm the dates

>1876- >8-1-1961

>Staying at your Service

>I remain

>Museum of the ARmy and the military History
>Jubilee Parc 3
>1000 Brussels
