Orphaned references in University of Leeds

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of University of Leeds's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "timesonline1":

  • From Browne Review: Hurst, Greg (10 November 2009). "Lord Browne of Madingley heads team to look at raising tuition fees". The Times. London. Retrieved 10 November 2009.
  • From University of Manchester: Byers, David (10 September 2006). "Manchester unites to target world league". Sunday Times. London. Retrieved 13 May 2007.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 16:25, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Something odd in "History" section...

[edit]

At time of writing, the "History" section seems to be missing everything between 1904 and 2000... present subheads are: 1.3 Victoria University and royal charter / 1.4 2000 to present. Just wondering if relevant text used to exist here and has vanished for some reason... Tony 1212 (talk) 06:15, 25 July 2020 (UTC) (a Leeds student 1971-1979)[reply]

Just checked back though the page history, no, that time period does not ever seem to have been covered ): A nice historic research project for "somebody" maybe...Tony 1212 (talk) 06:20, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
