Link colors

User MarkFilipak inserted the following text into the article:

Twenty of the colors in the table below are wrong.
Someone who knows how to control color: please fix.
Blue states that should be red: Alabama, Florida, Missouri.
Red states that should be blue: Connecticut, Delaware, D.C., Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Pennyslvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Wisconsin.
Net changes: 3 from blue to red; 17 from red to blue.

I replaced it with:

A blue link in the table below indicates that a state has its own 2000 presidential election results page on Wikipedia; a red link indicates that this page does not yet exist. The color of the link does not indicate which party's candidate won the state.

Usually red denotes a Republican win while blue denotes a Democratic win, so I can see how that might be confusing. --Keith111 (talk) 12:19, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pages that do not yet exist

United States presidential election in Tennessee, 2000 still does not exist, which is a strange from from history, given that had her 11 votes gone to native son Gore, the 271 for Bush v. 266 for Gore would have been 260 v. 277, making hanging chads in Florida irrelevant. --Pawyilee (talk) 07:12, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
