Improper article title?
[edit]If, as explained in the lead, the ship was never commissioned as USS Wildwood, this article should probably not be under that name. From the proportion of coverage in the article, it is apparent that it should be entitled USS PC-1181 rather than anything else. When the Did you know item is off the Main Page, I will move it. — Bellhalla (talk) 18:58, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- I originally created the article as Wildwood (PC-1181) but it was moved here and the user who did it cited WP:NC-SHIPS as his reasoning. On a side note, per WP:NC-SHIPS it states that ship articles she be named by the most well-known name of the ship. Since she served as USS PC-1181 during the war and was only named Wildwood after decommissioning after the war I think that the article should be moved to USS PC-1181. - There's apparently some edit history that is blocking a non-admin move. I've made a request for assistance on the move at WP:SHIPS. — Bellhalla (talk) 22:21, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
