[edit]

Please italicize this hatnote above by following format:

{{Other ships|USS Arizona{{!}}USS ''Arizona''}}

 Done The hatnote is already italicized, but I assume you want to make "Arizona" not italicized specifically. I'll merge this as a bold edit. Deauthorized. (talk) 13:00, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also for Russian cruiser Moskva, which had been italicized and fixed. 112.204.223.12 (talk) 15:20, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is a memorial and some pieces of the USS Arizona in a barracks of the same name, In the Navy training facility in Great Lakes Illinois. Can't find any reference online confirming this but anybody who's been there can confirm it. 47.196.94.160 (talk) 06:10, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Will need confirmation per WP:Verifiability before we can add that Cannolis (talk) 06:15, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

that picture and the attached details are the only reference I can find online confirming it's there. 47.196.94.160 (talk) 06:21, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We need a more substantive basis on which to say that. Perhaps a local media outlet could do a story on it? See Wikipedia:Verifiability for more information on why we can't include this information without adequate referencing. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 16:15, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done It's not clear what it is you are requesting. Please post requests in a "Please change 'X to y'" format, and be sure to include sourcing. Thank you - wolf 05:13, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Converting gen. ref. to Template:sfn

[edit]

I propose to convert all the general references to Template:sfn as it automatically links to the cited source. The improvement is that one doesn't need to search for the book in the references section, which is especially annoying on a smartphone. If the reference would link directly to the reference, it would also be more easily verifiable. Synonimany (talk) 11:00, 3 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am not fond of sfn. Let's see what other editors think.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:00, 3 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support - sfn/harv references are just better. Llammakey (talk) 20:41, 6 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
