why is transgenic animals so important

This should not include info on Transgenic Flies? Flies are insects not animals.

[edit]

I have reverted the content back to a 13 Jan 2006 version, which is a drastic revision. This change was made due to two major copyright problems. The first was introduced in March 2006 by Feloidea who essentially copied the content of http://www.transgenicmouse.com/transgenic-mouse.php. This copyright violation was essentially fully reversed by NatusRoma in November 2006 (this diff). Then in December 2006, Shekharsuman essetnially copied the content of http://www.ssy.org.uk/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=53&topic=4394.msg66317, which might itself have been a copy of the content of http://www.actionbioscience.org/biotech/margawati (unverified). A later edit by this editor claims to have cleaned up the content but actually resulted in no change to the content (spoof edit). Hopefully a proper article will emerge over time. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 02:46, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
