Pic is a Bit distorted

[edit]

Hi there I would Like To let you know that, The Picture Of him looks Distorted, Could You please Fix It Thank you :) 50.4.14.171 (talk) 02:28, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not possible, he is captured gyrating and grimacing (seems to be typical of his demeanour) when performing on stage. The full image showing the audience and stage/footlights can be seen here.
This is the only image that is available to use - prior to this, there was no image, and fans were trying to take images from the internet to put into Wikipedia. This is mostly not possible, because images are covered by International Copyright Law, as Wikipedia is considered as a publisher and has to uphold the various laws. There are discussions above dedicated this aspect. Rocknrollmancer (talk) 14:53, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I would have taken a better picture but i only had my phone and wasn't on the front row, this is all i could do due to my phone not having optical zoom. (I took that picture, you can see on the commons page) 80s Sam (talk) 11:18, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is obliged to image-uploaders for making them available; this view shows the audience. I know a chap who occasionally takes motor sport images in a similar manner, with the camera behind the spectators to show their eyeline-view.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 00:52, 22 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Technoblade death and live show

[edit]

The tommyinnit and friends and enemy's show happened on the same day as the announcement of technoblades death. i think this should be mentioned. 80s Sam (talk) 11:29, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Is there something about the two words "sources required" that you don't understand? If so, put {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone who speaks English may be able to help you. Sundayclose (talk) 00:13, 22 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@80s Sam No it didn't. The show actually happened the day after the death announcement. Strugglehouse (talk) 11:22, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
In England, where the show happened, the video says 1st of July as it's upload date. So I was the Same day. 80s Sam (talk) 19:52, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand what's happening here, but the ticket seller states 31 August 2022, quoting: "...this is his first ever live show!", and the release of the video is shown as 1 July. Why the 31 Aug? Was the previous show (1 July) cancelled, to be re-scheduled for 31 Aug? Or was 31 Aug the originally planned event, then brought forward?
Unless there was some actual third-party reported content, trying to link the two events (the death and the show) would be WP:OR and WP:SYNTHESIS.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 21:47, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@80s Sam Apologies, you are indeed correct. I was going off of the date that is on Technoblade's Wikipedia page, but the death announcement was released at 1:29am GMT; timezones mess with this. Going purley off of the UK time, they were on the same day. Strugglehouse (talk) 17:57, 24 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The event did happen on July 1st, I have not heard about the August 31st one though. 80s Sam (talk) 23:21, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
